BACOLOD City – Two men who were accused of rape and frustrated murder were arrested on Sunday afternoon in La Carlota City and Hinigaran town, respectively.
Richard Junco Maghari, 23, a resident of Hacienda Molave, Barangay Nagasi, La Carlota City, was charged with three counts of rape.
No bail was recommended for his temporary liberty.
He is now detained at the city’s custodial jail while the police are waiting for the commitment order from the court to transfer him to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology.
Meanwhile, the Hinigaran police arrested Tenteng Donasco in Sitio Labayen, Barangay Tuguis.
Judge Walter Zorilla of the Regional Trial Court, Branch-56 in Himamaylan City issued the arrest warrant dated Jan. 27, 2016.
The court recommended a bail bond of P200, 000 for his temporary liberty./PN
