BACOLOD City – Charged with frustrated murder and serious physical injury, a man was arrested in Barangay Nato, La Castellana, Negros Occidental.
The 39-year-old Roldan Rafil was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant that Judge Rodney Magbanua of the Regional Trial Court Branch 61 issued on July 6.
Joint personnel from the Regional Intelligence Unit and police stations of La Castellana and Kabankalan City staged the arrest on Sunday.
Upon arrest, the police recovered a .45-caliber pistol and a hand grenade from Rafil.
Rafil was detained in the lockup cell of the La Castellana police station.
The court recommended a P200,000 (for frustrated murder) and an P18,000 (for serious physical injury) bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
