Fuel prices expected to roll back this week

MANILA – After a series of increases, motorists may expect a decline in the pump prices of petroleum products this coming week.

In its weekly fuel forecast for April 2 to 8, independent oil player Unioil Petroleum Philippines said the price per liter of diesel is expected to roll back by P0.30 to P0.40 while gasoline price is seen to decrease by P0.05 to P0.10 per liter.

Local oil companies usually implement fuel price adjustments every Tuesday of the week.

Latest data from the Department of Energy showed gasoline prices range from P48.95 to P60.06 per liter, while diesel prices range from P40.30 to P46.65 per liter. (GMA News)
