ILOILO City – After 12 years of hiding, the most wanted person in Leyte was finally arrested yesterday, June 1, in Barangay Cabudian, Dueñas, Iloilo.
Forty-seven-year-old Valeriano Cordeta of the town’s Barangay Jaguimit was charged with rape, a police report showed.
He was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant around 11:30 a.m.
The suspect was detained at the Dueñas police station.
