Game Changers from Makati-based school awarded Best Marketing Students of the Year by AGORA Youth Awards

AGORA Youth Awards organized by the Philippine Marketing Association announces a group of students from iACADEMY School of Business and Liberal Arts 2nd place in the competition for the Best Marketing Students of the Year having presented comprehensive and well-thought case studies on marketing during the Agora Marketing Competition – Brilliance Still Shines at the 41st AGORA Youth Awards.

Landing 2nd place in this competition are BS Marketing Management majors Geoffrey Allen T. Tan, Kurt Symoun E. Boquiren, Nina Jean S. Comanda, Jullian Denise H. Febrar, Nicolas Gabriel C. Villapando, and Sean Ethan Sebastian D.G. Valdez who were supervised and guided by Joenil Cofreros, Program Chair of the Marketing Management program, School of Business and Liberal Arts, iACADEMY.

“My first taste of group competitions was in my first year when my amazing team and I won 9th place for a marketing competition nationwide. This event taught me that you can never do it alone in marketing, and collaboration is the number one key to success,” shares Geoffrey Allen Tan, a 4th year BS Marketing Management student in iACADEMY.

A collaboration between the Philippine Marketing Association, the academe, and affiliate organizations for marketing students, the AGORA Youth Awards recognizes the best marketing students for the school year, offering the country’s future marketers the chance to show their ability to apply knowledge and theory to actual business cases.

“Out of the 22 schools which participated in the competition, only half completed the requirements. It was a daunting task and seemingly impossible to accomplish alongside the other projects these students were working on. But I have nothing but endearment for these Game Changers who were relentless in reviewing their pitches, and conducting sessions to ensure they present the most game-changing case studies. I am certain they will go far and iACADEMY will be on the frontline to make sure they get the best training and support in their endeavors”, says Joenil Cofreros, Program Chair, School of Business and Liberal Arts – iACADEMY.

The AGORA Youth Awards recognizes the best of the best and the cream of the crop of the marketing students for the school year. With this recognition, iACADEMY affirms its promise to produce excellent and globally competitive students who will be leaders and makers of positive change in the business and marketing industry in the future.

iACADEMY is now accepting applications for Senior High School and College for S.Y. 2022-2023.
