ILOILO City – If a gas station attendant were to be believed, a commercial sex worker he picked up on Ledesma Street, City Proper stole his P600 cash and automated teller machine (ATM) card.
Cornelio Buyco, 21, filed a complaint against the woman at the La Paz police station yesterday.
According to Buyco, he took the woman – a resident of Barangay Boulevard, Molo district – to a lodge in La Paz around 4 a.m. He believed the woman stole his money and ATM card while he was taking a bath.
Buyco took the woman to the police station.
The woman denied stealing her client’s money and ATM card.
The police inspected her but did not find the money and ATM card. They thus released her for lack of evidence./PN
