ILOILO City – Three gasoline station workers in Arevalo district were accused of trying to steal filled tanks of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).
Jun Jovel Andea, Regard Degoma and Richie Valdez, all residents of the district, face qualified theft charges.
Officers arrested them at around 9 a.m. on Thursday at their station in Barangay San Jose, Arevalo for lying about refilling seven LPG tanks without permission from their boss, a police report stated.
Their employer, Anna Krystelle Ang, told the police the three workers told her the seven tanks were empty but she checked and discovered they were in fact filled.
