Gasoline station owner accuses employee of theft

BACOLOD City – The owner of a gasoline station in Barangay Balintawak, Escalante City, Negros Occidental complained to the police that a staff stole her bag containing P65,000.

Gretchen Encarguez, 40, said she left the bag in her office at about 9 p.m. on June 18. It was no longer there the next day.

She reviewed their security camera recordings, she told the police, and said her staff Jules Bryant Echevarria of Sagay City, Negros Occidental took it.

The Escalante City police launched a manhunt and arrested Echevarria./PN
