MISS Universe-Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados made waves online after wearing a Philippine Eagle-inspired gown created by local fashion designer Benj Leguiab IV.
Gazini who can be seen posing in photos with a rustic background for Benj Leguiab’s Haute Couture earned praises from the netizens.
One netizen wrote: “Ang ganda! Pang finale gown na ‘to idol. How I wish ikaw ang gumawa ng gown ni Gazini for Miss Universe. Your creation is really unique and elegant!”
Another netizen stated: “Sobrang ganda! Pang grand finals. Sana same gown na sa Miss Universe or mas bonggang bongga pa.”
The designer said he finished making the fully hand-beaded golden Philippine Eagle-inspired gown last October 2018.
A month after Gazini won in the “Binibining Pilipinas 2019,” he decided to do a photoshoot with the Cebuana beauty queen.
In less than 12 hours, the said gown earned more than 6,000 shares and 10,000 likes.
Raised in Talisay City, Cebu, Gazini is set to represent the country at the upcoming Miss Universe competition. (Push)
