GLOBAL Business Power Corporation (GBP) subsidiaries, Panay Energy Development Corporation (PEDC), Panay Power Corporation (PPC), and GBH Power Resources, Incorporated (GPRI), have recently passed the reassessment audit for Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001:2015), Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001:2015) and have upgraded their Occupational Health and Safety certificate to the latest version, ISO 45001:2018.
“These certifications highlight that our processes, services, and overall business operations conform to the highest quality standards. The ISO 9001:2015 outlined quality management system requirements to promote delivery of products and services that consistently meet customer requirements and expectations. The ISO 14001:2015 emphasized enhancement of environmental performance, fulfillment of compliance obligations, and achievement of environmental objectives while ISO 45001:2018 is the newly published occupational health and safety management standard that replaced OHSAS 18001:2007.
GBP’s other power generation subsidiaries namely Cebu Energy Development Corporation and Toledo Power Corporation have likewise maintained the validity of their certificates for ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and upgraded to ISO 45001:2018.
Panay Energy Development Corporation owns and operates 164 MW and 150 MW clean coal-fired plants in the City of Iloilo while Panay Power Corporation has 75 MW and 20 MW plant facilities in Iloilo, as well as 5 MW and 7.5 MW plant facilities in New Washington and Nabas in Aklan, respectively. Meanwhile, GBH Power Resources, Incorporated owns and operates a 7.5 MW diesel-fired plant in Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro.(GBP)
