GERALD Anderson credited his girlfriend Bea Alonzo for changing him in terms of “maturity,” as they attended together the ABS-CBN Ball on Saturday.
Each other’s dates for a third time at ABS-CBN’s charity event, the couple spoke with reporters shortly before they walked the red carpet.
The 29-year-old actor described his relationship with Alonzo as “happy, steady.”
“Kumabaga ‘pag wala akong trabaho, wala akong basketball, kami ang magkasama. Life is good,” he said.
Alonzo, 30, agreed: “Life is good. I’m very happy.”
Anderson side-stepped a question about their relationship reaching a new level, or getting engaged, by sharing how Alonzo has made him “level up” as a person.
“Level up na ‘to, sobra. As a person, ang laki ng pagbabago ko rin, e. Maturity-wise, ang dami kong natutunan sa kanya, kung paano ko pahalagahan ang isang tao at ang oras niya. Malaking level up ‘yan para sa akin,” he said.
When asked more directly as to whether they have plans to get married, the two laughingly shrugged off the topic, saying it will come at a much later time. (ABS-CBN News)
