“Ang EPIRA was enacted purposely para nga ang generation, distribution and transmission will be ran by private sector. That is why NPC (National Power Corporation) was privatized. Now, shall we return to an era that has long been gone?” dugang pa ni Sayno.

“That reflects the agenda. Let us not do the people a disservice. If you really want to do it, you must be prepared. Please stop the threat to the people because you cannot leave people hanging and go back to the dark ages,” panawagan ni Sayno.
Samtang, ginpasalig naman ni Mikel Afzelius, Corporate Communications Manager sang PECO, nga magapabilin sila nga magabuylog sa Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) para sa kauswagan sang syudad.
Sunu kay Afzelius, sa pihak sang resolution sang SP, magapadayun sila sa ila mga proyekto sa bulig man sang city government.
“We involve them, we coordinate with them sa mga programs. So we continue to cooperate sa city government,” pasalig ni Azlelius.
Ginpahayag naman ni Marcelo Cacho, Internal Affairs Officer sang PECO, nga magapadayun sila sa pagserbisyo bisan pa indi man ma-renew ang ila franchise tubtob nga hambalon sila sang gobyerno nga mag-untat sang ila operations.
Bilang sabat, ginsiling ni Alim nga normal lamang nga magdepensa ang PECO.
“It’s normal for PECO nga magdepensa. Pirme sila nagahambal nga politically motivated ang amon hulag. Ang masiling ko, PECO is politically protected,” sabat ni Alim.
