BACOLOD City – Crossing the road turned fatal for an 11-year-old girl in Hacienda Ibus, Barangay Tortosa, Manapla, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.
The 36-year-old Joemarie Acuesta of Barangay 1, Victorias City, Negros Occidental was driving his Suzuki 150 motorcycle when he crashed against Paulin Joy Mari Eswagan around 5 p.m. on Tuesday, the report further stated.
Eswagan was rushed to the Ika-ayong Lawas Foundation Hospital in Victorias City where the attending physician pronounced him “dead on arrival.”
Acuesta was brought to the same hospital but later transferred to the Riverside Medical Center in Bacolod City where he was currently under treatment./PN
