BACOLOD City – She was only playing with her cousins when she drowned, a police report showed.
The 4-year-old Althea Nicole Huguan of Barangay Salong, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental was pronounced “dead on arrival” at the Holy Mother of Mercy Hospital around 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday, the report further stated.
Huguan and her family members had an outing at Balicaocao Highland resort in Barangay Orong, Kabankalan City that day.
Huguan went missing. She was then found to have drowned in the resort’s swimming pool.
She was fetched from the pool and brought to the hospital./PN
