ILOILO City – A six-year-old girl drowned in a beach in Barangay San Juan, Barotac Viejo, Iloilo on Wednesday. Her two cousins, aged eight and 11, were hospitalized.
Police said the kids may have swum to the deep portion of the sea unnoticed.
Their family heard them shouting for help around 12:30 p.m., police added.
The six-year-old resident of Barangay Tambunac, San Enrique, Iloilo passed away at the Dr. Niel D. Tupas Sr. District Hospital.
