ROXAS City – Glacier Panay, a pioneering joint venture between Pueblo de Panay, Inc. and Glacier Megafridge, proudly inaugurated its state-of-the-art carbon dioxide refrigeration facility, marking a significant milestone as the first-ever Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Cold Storage Project in the Philippines. The event took place on Oct. 18, 2023 at St. Joseph Avenue, Pueblo de Panay Township in Roxas City, Capiz.

Supported by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), Glacier Panay is set to revolutionize the cold storage landscape in the country, enhancing the agri-fishery industry and promoting sustainable practices in Roxas City, dubbed as the Seafood Capital of the Philippines.
