ACTRESS Glaiza de Castro was treated to a surprise bridal shower by her closest friends ahead of her second wedding to Irish husband David Rainey in the Philippines.
As seen in photos shared online, Angelica Panganiban, her maid-of-honor, organized the celebration held at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig over the weekend. Also present during the surprise party were Maxene Magalona, Kakai Bautista, Isabel Oli, and Sheena Halili.
“‘Yung akala ko may viewing ng condo pero iba pala ang ma vu-view ko,” wrote Glaiza in her post. “Grabe ‘yung pagmamahal na naramdaman ko kagabi kaya maraming salamat sa lahat ng bumubuo ng #HappypeCHAy.”
“P.S. ‘Yung red dress na ‘to ay dinala lang ni @iamangelicap para may pamalit ako bilang hindi man lang ako nakapag bihis ng akma sa okasyon, basa pa buhok ko at wala talaga akong ka ide ideya sa mga magaganap (sic),” she added.
Glaiza and her husband first tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Northern Island in October 2021.
In an interview last year, the actress said that she and David were planning to hold another wedding in the Philippines — this time with her family and close friends present.
Glaiza, 34, got engaged to David in Christmas 2020, after more than a year of being a couple. The surprise proposal took place also in Ireland, where David and his family are based. (PUSH)
