GOLDSTAR Bus Transit, Inc. (GBTI) and Ceres Transport Inc. (CTI) held their annual stockholders’ meeting yesterday.
Leo Rey Yanson, Ginnette Dumancas, Atty. Collin Derk Isidto, Hernan Omecillo, and Danny Lorenton were re-elected as GBTIs board of directors.
On the other hand, Ginnette Dumancas, Leo Rey Yanson, Olivia Yanson, Charles Dumancas, Rey Ardo, Daniel Nicolas Golez, Arvin Villaruel, Anita Chua, Joseph Ellery Villanueva, Hernan Omecillo, and Alfredo Ligo, were re-elected as board of directors of the CTI.
The newly-elected directors of both corporations likewise held an organizational meeting. Leo Rey Yanson was re-appointed as chairman of the board and president. Olivia Yanson, meanwhile, was re-appointed as corporate secretary and treasurer.
Despite due notice, stockholders Roy Yanson and Ricardo Yanson, Jr. were absent together with their sister Emily Yanson and Ma. Lourdes Celina Yanson-Lopez.
There are several outstanding warrants of arrest against the four siblings, Roy, Celina, Ricky, and Emily, or the so-called Yanson 4.
According to the CTI, they were indicted in court for carnapping and qualified theft, and among others. Warrants of arrest have also been issued against Emily for the crimes of perjury and falsification of another corporation’s General Information Sheets. It is those same falsified GISes that are being used by Y4 to claim their majority ownership.
CTI and GBTI are the two companies within the Yanson group to operate in Luzon. The chairman and president, Leo Rey Yanson, confirmed that despite the challenges in 2020, the Yanson Group of Bus Companies remain committed to providing the riding public with the most reliable means of public transportation for all.
