MANILA – Province-based volleyball athletes should never look down on themselves, must always be positive thinkers and should have good attitude, Guimarasnon volleybelle Jovelyn Gonzaga said.
Speaking over at the Sports Lang podcast on Sunday night, Gonzaga said that athletes should always have a goal that will push them to strive harder to have the opportunity to play against their idols in Manila.
Gonzaga also advised younger volleyball athletes to never set a price on themselves when some schools or teams are recruiting them and should instead focus on improving their game.
“Play your game first.
