GOOD SHEPHERD’S Fold Academy continued its rise in the National Basketball Training Center (NBTC) Guimaras leg after a 72-71 escape over Jordan National High School at the Guimaras State College gym.

Both teams went toe to toe the entire match with numerous deadlocks and lead changes but Good Shepherd’s came up with clutch hits to escape with the win. Clint Alconga led the scoring for the winning team on Sunday with 24 points.

Guimaras State College, meanwhile, was able to bounce back from its loss to Good Shepherd’s on Saturday as it scored a lopsided 95-67 victory over Agsanayan National High School.

Sta. Teresa National High School, on the other hand, was able to get back on the winning track after an 88-76 manhandling of the East Valencia National High School.

After the Dec. 9 matches, Buenavista National High School was still on top with an immaculate 5-0 win-loss slate, while Guimaras State College was half a game behind on second place with 4-1.

Good Shepherd’s and Sta. Teresa National High School were still knotted on third place (3-2), while Agsanayan National High, East Valencia National High and Jordan National High were all tied on the last place (1-4).
