Gov’t worker yields ‘shabu’

BACOLOD City – A government employee in Silay City, Negros Occidental, and his companion were apprehended during a buy-bust operation at Bonifacio Extension in Barangay 4.

Ten sachets of suspected shabu weighing 12 grams and valued at P81,600 were seized from 61-year-old Romeo Dicto, a government employee tagged as a high-value suspect, as well as 26-year-old Romeo Ibañez.

Both are residents of the said area.

The Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office carried out the operation at around 2:17 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 20./PN
