BACOLOD City – Nine sachets of suspected marijuana were seized from a Grade 11 senior high school student within the school premises in Manapla, Negros Occidental.
The 18-year-old Jemuel Dinorog was a resident of Barangay I-A of the locality.
About 36.58 grams of suspected marijuana valued at P4,200 were recovered.
Around 10:55 a.m. on March 6, two teachers were conducting a lecture when they saw the suspected marijuana in plain view inside an opened bag of the student.
A tooter and a lighter were also recovered.
Dinorog is being held by the local police and will be facing a charge for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
