BACOLOD City – Two men were arrested in a drug buy-bust operation at a public market in Bago City, Negros Occidental.
Ronel Himaya, 35, and Niel Reoyan, 35, were residents of Barangay Granada, Bacolod City.
They sold a sachet of shabu to an undercover officer around 10 a.m. on Oct. 20, according to a police report.
Recovered from the suspects were six sachets of the prohibited substance; P500 marked money; two cellphones; and P6, 817 cash.
The suspects were detained at the Bago City police station lockup cell, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
