ON INSTAGRAM, the younger Barretto shared a photo of her with Gretchen and their mother, Estrella “Inday” Barretto, having lunch together at the mall while “waiting for Dad’s ashes”. Also with them was their brother, Joaquin, and a few other relatives.
“Family. We miss you Daddy,” wrote Claudine as caption.
She then posted a clip of Gretchen and Mrs. Barretto with arms behind each other’s back as they strolled in the mall.
“My mom and my ate stronger together. Dad for sure is so happy,” she said.
After years of being estranged, Gretchen was reunited with her mother at the wake of her late father, Miguel Alvir Barretto, on Thursday. The family patriarch passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 15, at the age of 82. (Push)
