CAPIZ – A security guard was shot dead in Barangay Ibaca, President Roxas town late Monday afternoon.
Tio Garcia, 47, was a security guard of East Elementary School.
Garcia sustained four gunshot wounds and was declared “dead on arrival” at the Bailan District Hospital.
A suspect has been identified – Keyn Almendral, 24, also a resident of Barangay Ibaca.
The victim’s son, Pemar Garcia, witnessed the shooting, police said.
Almendral fled but was cornered by the policemen in a hot pursuit operation around 9 p.m. in Barangay Cayus, Pilar./PN
