President Marcos Jr. led the kick off proclamation rally for the Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte on February 11, 2025.

The “Alyansa” is composed of five leading political parties in the country: Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP), Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (CMD), Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC), Nacionalista Party (NP) and National Unity Party (NUP).

Sen. Lacson is a favorite of the Ilonggos for his no-nonsense anti-crime record when he was a Philippine National Police chief and his unyielding stand on social issues as a senator.

Sen. Lapid was instrumental in helping provide livelihood assistance to paluto vendors at the Iloilo Fish Port and the improvement of the area, particularly the soon-to-be-constructed Seafoods’ Wharf and Dome for the paluto diners and tourists, which is in partnership with TIEZA General Manager Mark Lapid.

Sen. Revilla helped fund the multi-year two-storey multipurpose building with evacuation center and mezzanine in Barangay Tanza Esperanza, and has been sending assistance programs.

Sen. Cayetano has also been sending assistance programs especially grants under the Sustainable Livelihood Program to women, among other programs.

Sen. Sotto has also helped the Ilonggos in the years he was in the Senate, particularly during his tenure as Senate President.

The rally will be held at the Gaisano City Center along Diversion Road starting at 2 p.m. The senatorial candidates will deliver their speeches after the pre-event performances. An after-rally concert will be bannered by Silent Sanctuary and Sunkissed Lola.
