GUIMARAS – Christmas and New Year celebrations of regular employees of the Guimaras provincial government will be merrier with their collective negotiation agreement (CNA) incentive.
Some 466 regular employees of the capitol will receive a P20,000 CNA incentive each, according to Vice Gov. John Edward Gando.
Regular employees of the Dr. Catalino Gallego Nava Provincial Hospital in Jordan town, meanwhile, will receive P17,500 each, while part-time employees will be given P8,750 each.
Employees of the provincial hospital will be receiving a lesser amount because their incentives depend on the hospital’s savings.
“Regular employees namon sa provincial government makabaton P20,000 each. Ang mabaton naman sang hospital regular employees is P17,500 each and ang part-time is P8,750. Mas manubo sila kay local economic enterprise ang hospital,” Gando told Panay News in an interview on Monday, Dec. 19.
The 10th Sangguniang Panlalawigan conducted a special session for the approval of the two supplemental budgets for the said incentives.
For the capitol regular employees, a supplemental budget worth P9,320,000 – sourced from various maintenance and other operating expenses (MOOE) savings – was approved.
And for the 108 personnel of the provincial hospital, a budget worth P1,828,750 was approved. It was sourced from the hospital’s MOOE./PN
