ILOILO City – A man was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Salvacion, Buenavista, Guimaras.
Eleven sachets of suspected shabu were recovered from Jayson Habaña, police said.
He was caught in an entrapment operation staged by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Guimaras and Buenavista police station around1:40 p.m. on June 28.
Aside from the suspected illegal drugs, a P500 marked money was also recovered.
Habaña was detained in the lockup facility of the municipal police station.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against him. (With a report from PDEA Region 6/PN)
