GUIMARAS – The province of Guimaras recorded two new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) on Sunday, Oct. 18, bringing the total number of cases in the island province to 161.
The two new cases are repatriated overseas Filipino worker from Barangay Oracon and locally stranded individual from Barangay Salvacion, both in Nueva Valencia town.
Of the 161 COVID-19 cases, 11 are active cases.
Guimaras has recorded only one COVID-19 death while 149 have already recovered from the viral infection./PN
