Guimbal MPS to file case vs gamefowl theft suspects

ILOILO – The Guimbal Municipal Police Station (MPS) is preparing a complaint against four suspects in the theft of 15 gamefowls from a game farm in Barangay Particion, Guimbal.

All 15 stolen gamefowls with “Alexandra” markings were recovered, Dioso added.

On Feb. 7, Alexandra Game Farm manager Emiliano Gevela discovered the robbery of 12 broad cocks and three stags worth around P1.4 million.

The suspects, whose names were withheld, were allegedly preying on game farms across Iloilo province.

The police also recovered from one of the suspects other gamefowls allegedly stolen from Barotac Viejo town and Passi City.

Police Regional Office 6 director Brigadier General Leo Francisco, for his part, intensified checkpoints and vehicle inspections.

The stolen gamefowls were reportedly sold in Boracay Island, Aklan.
