ILOILO City – Police nabbed a man for violating the election gun ban in Barangay San Lucas, Barotac Viejo, Iloilo.
The 68-year-old Elias Oliveros of Barangay Poblacion East, Oton, Iloilo was caught at a police checkpoint around 9:25 a.m. on Sunday, a police report showed.
Confiscated from his possession were a12-gauge shotgun and an improvised pistol with bullets.
Oliveros was taken to the Barotac Viejo police station where he was detained.
