BACOLOD City – A man was arrested for breaking the election gun ban in Purok Calatcat, Barangay Don Jorge Araneta, Bago City, Negros Occidental.
Two improvised shotgun or sulpak, and 11 live bullets of a 12-gauge shotgun were confiscated from the 31-year-old resident Marianito Canja, a police report showed.
Canja was nabbed in his house on the strength of a search warrant around 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, the report added.
He was detained in the lockup cell of Bago City police station, facing charges./PN
