ILOILO City – For violating the election gun ban, a man was arrested in Barangay Sinuagan, Pototan, Iloilo.
A .38-caliber revolver and .45-caliber pistol were recovered from the 36-year-old Rodel Jamelarin, a police report showed.
Officers from the Pototan police station seized the guns from Jameralin when they served a search warrant around 6 a.m. on Monday.
Jameralin was nabbed after he failed to show the licenses of the guns.
He was detained in the lockup cell of the municipal police station./PN
