ILOILO City – For violating the election gun ban, a man was arrested in Barangay Lampaya, Calinog, Iloilo.
The 53-year-old resident Romeo Panes was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant around 6 a.m. on Saturday, a police report showed.
Recovered from Panes’ possession were a 12-gauge shotgun, two bullets of a .45-caliber pistol and an empty shell of a .45-caliber pistol, police said.
Panes was detained in the lockup facility of the Calinog municipal police station./PN
