ILOILO – Five persons were separately arrested in various areas of the province from March 7 to 13 for alleged illegal possession of firearms.
According to the Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO), the arrests were made in the towns of San Joaquin, Pavia, Calinog, Pototan, and Dueñas.
The five suspects were subsequently charged with violation of the Commission on Elections gun ban./PN
