BACOLOD City – Police recovered an abandoned firearm in Purok 6, Barangay 5, Sipalay City, Negros Occidental.
A .38-caliber pistol with defaced serial number was found beside the nipa hut of the Small Fisherman Association around 8:10 p.m. on Thursday, a police report showed.
Two live bullets were also seized, the report added.
The Sipalay City police station has yet to find out the gun’s owner as of this writing./PN
