BACOLOD City – Police failed to arrest a man in Barangay San Jose, Sipalay City, Negros Occidental.
Joel Epogon, 35, was not inside his house when officers served him a search warrant around 8:30 p.m. on July 28.
Despite this, police went on with the search and seized a hand grenade; a live rifle grenade; an air rifle; a barrelof a .22-caliber gun, a live bullet of an M16 rifle; four live bullets of a .22-caliber gun; an empty M16 rifle magazine; and an empty M14 rifle magazine.
Four sachets of suspected shabu were also confiscated.
Charges for violations of Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act, Illegal Possession of Explosives and Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were filed against Epogon./PN
