BACOLOD City – Two men were arrested for illegal possession of firearms, ammunition and a deadly weapon, a police report showed.
Police identified them as Barangay Blumentritt, Murcia, Negros Occidental residents 35-year-old Remy Morales and 32-year-old Alvin Natabio.
Morales and Natanio were riding a motorcycle wearing no helmets when police officers flagged them down in Barangay Taculing, Bacolod City around 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday, the report stated.
When frisked, Morales yielded a .45-caliber pistol and ammunition.
Natabio, on the other hand, yielded a knife and a scabbard.
The motorcycle they were riding had no plate number, too, added the police.
Morales and Natabio were detained at the Police Station 6 lockup facility./PN
