BACOLOD City – He failed to show the police the registration documents of his gun.
The 27-year-old Lowel Remunsa of Barangay Camindangan, Cauayan, Negros Occidental landed in jail, a police report showed.
Remunsa was arrested around 10:15 p.m. on Thursday in Barangay Bunga, Salvador Benedicto, Negros Occidental after police officers recovered from him an unregistered gun.
It was a .38-caliber homemade revolver loaded with two rounds of bullets, the officers said.
Remunsa, detained at the Salvador Benedicto police station lockup facility, faces charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
