NEW WASHINGTON, Aklan – A man suspected of selling homemade firearms was arrested on Dec. 5 in Barangay Jugas here.
The entrapment operation of the police was carried out around 6:30 p.m.
An undercover police officer negotiated to buy from 46-year-old Rome Morano of Barangay Dumaguit a homemade pistol for P4,500.
After his arrest, Morano was taken to the municipal police station.
He faced a charge of violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
