BACOLOD City – Ten plastic sachets of suspected shabu and a .22 handgun with ammunition were seized from a 51-year-old man during a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Taloc, Bago City, Negros Occidental.
Edgardo Cuayson was apprehended in his residence around 12:22 p.m. on Nov. 21.
Police said the recovered alleged illegal drugs were valued at P7,480.
Cuayson was detained at the Bago City Police Station.
He faces charges for violation of Republic Act (RA) 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act, and RA 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
