BACOLOD City – Police raided a house in Barangay Buenavista, Escalante City, Negros Occidental, leading to the recovery of suspected shabu and a firearm.
Armed with a search warrant, officers of the Escalante City police station went to 32-year-old resident Elijah Deocaris’ house around 6:30 a.m. on May 27.
They seized sixteen sachets of suspected illegal drugs and a .45-caliber pistol with seven live bullets.
Deocaris was detained in the lockup cell of the Escalante City police station, facing charges./PN
