BACOLOD City – Policemen arrested a 25-year-old man spotted with a gun at a refreshment parlor in Barangay 33 here.
Police Station 6 identified the suspect as Jemar Nicavera from Barangay Mandalagan. A .38 revolver was confiscated from his possession.
The police was alerted by a concerned citizen about Nicavera, who was immediately taken to the police station at around 8:50 p.m. on Dec. 15.
For failing to present documents showing his legitimate ownership of the gun, Nicavera faces a charge for violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act, police said./PN
