CAPIZ – A 40-year-old resident of Maayon town was gunned down by two men on a motorcycle around 10:30 p.m. on Jan. 9 in Barangay Batabat, Maayon.
Johnson Fusin was a resident of the said barangay. He was shot multiple times.
Citing witnesses’ statements, police said the gunmen drove a Bajaj motorcycle.
Policemen recovered from the crime scene 11 spent bullet shells of a yet to be determined firearm.
The Maayon police launched an investigation.
Maayon is a landlocked municipality with 32 barangays. Its population as determined by the 2020 census was 41,226./PN
