BACOLOD City – Police seized three .9mm-caliber guns, an M-16 rifle, a grenade and several live bullets from two men in Sitio Badiang, Barangay Sum-ag.
They were identified as 34-year-old Romy Hituro of Barangay Handumanan and 21-year-old Epogon Rivera of Barangay E. Lopez, Silay City, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.
Hituro and Epogon were nabbed at a police checkpoint on Monday, the report added.
According to police investigation, they were alleged members of the Epogon robbery group in Silay City, Negros Occidental.
The suspects were detained in the lockup cell of Police Station 9, facing charges./PN
