ILOILO City – Police raided a house in Barangay Ledesma, Pototan, Iloilo, leading to the recovery of unlicensed guns.
A .45-caliber pistol, a .22-caliber rifle and live bullets were recovered from 61-year-old Harly Dato-on, a police report showed.
The police conducted the raid on the strength of a search warrant around 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
Judge Domingo Casiple of the Regional Trial Court Branch 68 issued the warrant, the report added.
Dato-on was detained in the lockup cell of the municipal police station.
The guns were now in the custody of the police./PN
