BACOLOD City – Suspected shabu valued at P544,000 and a firearm were confiscated in a buy-bust operation in Purok 3, Barangay 1, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
Francisco Ala-onio, 47, a resident of the village, yielded 21 sachets around 4:30 p.m. on June 11, a police report showed.
Also recovered were a .45-caliber pistol (serial number 312524), one magazine loaded with ammunitions, and a holster, the report added.
The suspect was detained at the Kabankalan City police station.
Charges for violation of Republic Act (RA) 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) and RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) would be filed against him./PN
