Handumanan family feud turns bloody

BACOLOD City – Three persons were injured in a commotion due to family feud in Barangay Handumanan.

Police identified them as 73-year-old Carlito Adorio and his two sons Erwin and Jose, who sustained stabbed wounds on the body.

According to police investigation, 64-year-old Francisco Magbanua and his two sons Marlon and Kenly stabbed the Adorios after a heated argument ensued between the two families.

Carlito, Erwin and Jose were brought to the Corazon Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital in Bacolod City for medical treatment.

Francisco and Kenly were detained in the custodial facility of Police Station 10 but were later released after their reglementary detention period ended.

Marlon meanwhile managed to flee. Police officers already conducted a manhunt operation for his arrest./PN
