BACOLOD City – A 60-year-old man allegedly shot himself inside their house in Purok Kawayanan Uno, Barangay Handumanan, police said.
The dead body of Herminiano Ba-il was found around 11:50 a.m. on Sunday, a Police Station 10 report showed.
The report added that Ba-il was suffering from tuberculosis and asthma – health problems that might have driven him to kill himself, according to investigators.
Ba-il’s wife was selling viand to the residents of the barangay when the incident happened.
The gun that Ba-il used in what the police believed to be a suicide incident was not identified in the report./PN
