ILOILO City – Accused of theft, a man was nabbed in Barangay Q. Abeto, Madurriao district.
The 23-year-old Joemarie Setubal of Barangay Bagumbayan, San Joaquin, Iloilo told the police that he caught the 37-year-old Benjie Ansoyun of Barangay San Juan, Molo taking his wallet inside his bedroom in Barangay Q. Abeto.
The wallet contains P200, Satubal added.
The incident happened around 9:30 p.m. on June 6, a police report showed.
Officers from the Mandurriao police station recovered the wallet and the money from Ansoyun. The items were kept as evidence.
